I can't count the times that an unexpected crash ruined the fun in a game for at least an entire evening.
It's such a bomber having to do a lot of tedious work that you actually already have done.
Unfortunately, both tedious work and SBHHs seem to two of RWs key-items...

Good on ya that you got back in the game so well...
I should get back in there as well; even though SBHHs still ruin the fun often :(

Hello All,

Just thought I'd do a little update on my progress.

As Jessie would say "This week I have been mostly learning the about patience".
Patience as the Offset Tool takes forever and a day to re-render all the lofts in the scene (possibly the route, it takes long enough) as well as the one you just created

I should be testing that the signals work correctly, but I got bored looking at the same bland landscape so I started to do something about it.

Here's the start of Arundel Road:

Looking toward where the football and cricket ground will be and further off, Higher Dinting. Yon cliff face on the far right shows how different the ground levels are, a fair bit of smoothing will be required :)

Glossop Central. Not sure what I'm going to do with the platform end, in more recent years it slopes down to a door. But I think back in the day a small building that ran at 90 deg to the tack ends was there.

This slightly premature foray into adding scenery has brought up some questions though:

1. Is there a way to lock the track or items already placed? There were a couple of occasions when I somehow managed to break the track while adding scenery. Had the two red boxes show up.

2. Is there a way to lock the pitch gizmo to one axis only, or better yet let me select an axis and type in the angle in? The road next to Glossop Central, Howard Street, slopes down to Arundel Road. I'd like to be able to make one long bit of road and then add the slope, but every time I try, I introduce a lean to one side or the other.

My thanks to anyone taking the time to reply,

Shad.
