Simtrains route

Post by smarty2 »

I see Simtrain have added more rolling stock to their route, and they are doing the Engadin and Heidi express routes too for TS2012! Nice. Just scroll down the page for the new rolling stock and diesel shunter. http://www.simtrain.ch/productsRW/SBBRo ... Route1.htm

Thanks for the heads up, the shunter looks great. It's good to see that they appear to be taking the route seriously and plan to release a good variety of stock with it.

Hi Charlie, yes, even more assets you could use for your route?

Yes, I think I'm going to have to use their signals, I don't like the idea of scripting my own.

Oh, yes, this does look very nice. I particularly like the stock, though the colours of those coaches hurt my eyes - I assume that the garish tones and bleached-out look are an artifact of the RW3TS2012 game engine rather than the repainters' skills ...

Got my eye on the metre gauge one, not least because this will yield some nice resources for other mg/ng routes - at last I can build my Yugoslavian project, albeit electrified instead of diesel or steam!
