I'm not sure if this is just a TSX glitch, or could be the turntable is not ground leveled, but thought should mention it, I think it could be something TSX related though since it appears sometimes and then doesn't randomly. Penrith's turntable seems to be the most repeat offender at the moment.
what sort of spec do you run at? We do have a knack of making quite detailed models, and combined wth everything else, you may be having issues.

thanks,

I think it's a more general TS2012 issue with turntables and traversers; they seem to occasionally vanish from sight :-?

And I am going on a disappearing sounds being related to running out of memory theorem. Plus I haven't tested the turntables at all in RW3!

I too am having the same SBHH either side of Troutbeck

Not explored out from Keswick towards Cockermouth yet

Once again a big thank you :D

Interesting that someone else having same issue as me.

Not around until late tomorrow but will be back to see what else transpires. Must be something in that area that upsets some setups. Shame no way to get a list of assets on that tile or tiles{s} then we could check the assets used or special trackrules etc. Would not mind so much if issue was at either end of this wonderful route rather than slap bang in the middle.

The .bin file for the tile(s) will tell you which assets have been used on it

All installed ok for me, no problems. :) I have to run without shadows and suffer a major slowdown leaving Keswick toward the mill & just leaving Threlkeld, if the performance in these areas could be lifted it would help alot.

I have walked parts of this route and Ben has captured it perfectly, this outstanding model of the route ranks with the highest.
Hanging on to the firemans side of the cab on board Kevins Ivatt, with her excellent new soundset, rounding the corners as I headed towards Penrith was a joy.
If you like the BR steam era, this is pure gold.

Thanks for a masterpiece

I guess you mean that we can somehow read the bin file using RW Tools?

Excuse my ignorance but which bin file would relate to that area? Also which folders bin files?

Sorry to be thick.

I'm running a pretty high end machine, its not really about a detailed model for me, its as mentioned by above poster something TS2012 related it seems, sometimes its there, other times it not, its a odd bug really. I can run TSX mode at 30fps and above without much issue now and detail wise its the same for everywhere, no issues really with anything else. Detailed slider is at maxium to so I don't think its the dissapearing asset brought on by the detail slider either.

Its intimitent issue.

If you enter the world or scenario editor the tile number is displayed in the format +000000 -000000 on the left hand side of the bottom info bar. The .bin files are located in Content/Routes/[route number]/Scenery

It doesn't display as a list as such but if you are prepared to spend a few minutes looking through it you might be able to spot some oddity or other

Some more info on the SBHH at Troutbeck
I have too have turned the settings down to medium & gone in to create a new Free Roam Scenario from Troutbeck, loads OK but as soon as I move the cursor it "dings" with the SBHH
Ran the route through RW Tools & got the following:-
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\BDY26\CKR\stone_brick\stone_brick_platform_uk02_50m_mid-np.bin (Loft Item) on tile +000018+000033.bin
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Chaddock Engineering\altrincham\scenery\procedural\railprocclean\railprocclean.bin (Loft Item) on tile +000019+000032.bin
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Chaddock Engineering\altrincham\scenery\procedural\railprocrust\railprocrust.bin (Loft Item) on tile +000000+000027.bin
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\RSC\APStation\stations_grey\station05b_grey.bin (Scenery Item) on tile -000004+000026.bin
I don't think any of these are causing this issue?

The default turntables disappear from time to time too, leaving a large whole. It's a new feature in TS 2012

I too seem to be getting a SBHH at Troutbeck. I tried getting through to it on either side, but there is something RW doesn't like around there. :-?

The route is astonishingly beeautiful well done :) i get it working with no problems ive obviously seen stuff thats been missing on the
thread downloaded and first time runs :D The only problem i have which doesnt affect it playing but of a visual thing is at various areas the scenary flickers in huge amounts here
and there black like a tunnel decal sort of thing then back to normal then again and so on hope this helps out on the venture of sorting bugs 8)

Cant wait for some scenarios to creep up

But, Chris, you can get a list of assets on any tile in any route by using the function in RW Tools, just as long as you know the tile number, it's easy peasy.

I have a problem with Chaddock's folder for the turntables, it won't open properly in my 7zip and what files have been extracted so far, there seem to be lots of cost and tgt files.
