Manged to find some more of the missing scenery assets with the help above (many thanks) and the assets now showing as missing are:

I am stuck on these as I am unable to find them. I would have thought the route should load anyway with these assets missing?

Thanks also for the info on the Kuju wagon repaints. I have installed these and run all the scenarios through RW Tools and swapped out the few missing vehicles (all wagons).

Unforunately, the route still won't load and stops after a few seconds and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to get out.

I have a fairly high spec PC that loads and runs all other routes OK, so I doubt it is that.

I am really stumped as to what to do now - can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Hi Mervyn

These are what you need:

Click to view more informationLNWR Engine Shed Kit Part Two: Turntables and Water Towers [17207252 bytes] - Chaddock Engineering LNWR Engine Shed Kit Part 2 V2.zip
File ID: 25894 Date: 17 Dec 2013 - 8003 Downloads

And

Click to view more informationWoodfence [582864 bytes] - woodfence_RW.zip
File ID: 23849 Date: 02 May 2010 - 2539 Downloads

I thought I'd listed them in the readme but that may be an ommission on my part. The turntables will stop it from loading as they are refernced in the tracks.bin file.

Hopefully that should fix it, but make sure you clear cache too.

Thanks

Ben

And this

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\railnetwork\junctions\automatic_junction_motor.bin

Which despite its location is not a default item.
Same as me - though my route runs without any problem, and looks brilliant. I guess the fact that at least a couple of us have got the "issues" down to 3 items should be a comfort to all, and I'm sure it's only a location error or something overlooked in the package. To say how much was installed, I think only having 3 thinks out of place is a pretty fine effort!!!

edit - just found the "automatic_junction_motor.bin", it's in HSC, Project Platform, GuildfordDistrict, Falmouth, WCML and Island Line folders, which I guess means it's a payware item that's snuck in.
Like Squatch, the route loads perfectly fine for me also, and looks even more brilliant than the screenshots suggested it would, many thanks :D

Hi Ben

Thanks very much for this.

I had downloaded the turntables file and it was in my list to install, but for some reason I must have missed it. I have installed it now, together with the woodfence file, and the route now loads and works.

I am extremely grateful for your help and I am now really looking forward to enjoying your route.

Many, many thanks

I have a problem

I get an exception error when I try to install via the package manager which has to be set to all files as it doesn't recognise .z files there is no .rpk or .rwp suffix.

Please any ideas,

Cheers,

40058.

The .rwp is within the .z file you will need to unzip it with Winrar or something similar

Excellent Ben (although I already knew that!!! :D :D )

I just ran a modern through, my pc doesn't like Steam engines, all that extra noise and cltter, and everything ran fine. Hope you don't mind me doing so but I changed the track to a default one from Mundo's and the slow downs I was reporting to you a couple of weeks ago have all but gone.

Now off to read the manual

Regards

Phil

Well I just tried installing the route in another Asset set I have and get the SBHH in exactly the same location - Troutbeck Good Dn - Has anyone else passed this point ok?

Tried a fly through from Threlkeld and it crashed at exactly the same point. Unless anyone stumbles over an idea I am stumped as to what is in this area to cause this. Suppose I shall just play scenarios to the West of Threlkeld.

Later - Set up a scenario from Penrith. Reached Troutbeck station and got a SBHH. Therefore obviously something wrong on the tile between here and the goods dn marker.

Are there some unique assets or something that appear nowhere else on the route?

Otherwise I will have to use it a two separate routes.

I'll load it up and try it now Chris

edit - just ran all the way from Keswick to Penrith with no drop outs, including picking up some wagons at Troutbeck, so it's maybe set at too high a detail level on your PC??

Ok - will lower details again - funny how rest of route runs without issues though.

Will report back

Same result (lowered most settings although I have a powerful PC that handles rest of this route without issues). As I suspected there is a rougue asset or something. No way to find it given lack of anything like a proper error message in RW. Still a wonderful route that I will have to use as 2 routes without the mile around Troutbeck.

Just one other comment from me, I seem to have a odd issues with the turntables, I do have the chaddock engineering pack installed and they do show up, but other times they seem to vanish and leave a giant hole, then oddly enough you zoom away or go into a train and drive off and the turntable appears again as the full model.

I'm not sure if this is just a TSX glitch, or could be the turntable is not ground leveled, but thought should mention it, I think it could be something TSX related though since it appears sometimes and then doesn't randomly. Penrith's turntable seems to be the most repeat offender at the moment.

First of all what a fantastic route, I really appreciate the authors efforts, you really have captured the atmosphere of this route & the details is brilliant, many thanks

I too am having the same SBHH either side of Troutbeck
Also some flashing scenery at Keswick & Penruddock
Not explored out from Keswick towards Cockermouth yet

Once again a big thank you :D

what sort of spec do you run at? We do have a knack of making quite detailed models, and combined wth everything else, you may be having issues.
