I think its supposed to overrider where passengers are generated from i.e. to stop them just appearing randomly and to define 1 or more places where this happens. Derek mentioned that you just add one within the platform to implement the feature. I haven't experimented yet, but I will do later

I have added Entry and Exit points to my bespoke invisible platform. I can confirm that linking the entry/exit points to the platform did not disable the original passenger spawning locations. To stop these working they had to be switched off in the platform blueprint (xml) file. Once this was done the Entry Point produced passengers which then move along the platform. The exit point, I presume will be were passengers "unloaded" from the train will move to before disappearing.
