Tunnels

For my route i use the default track rule, which means any more than 1 section of track that is layed is layed quite close together. When it then comes to making tunnels, for this instance its a two track tunnel, i use the 2 track tunnel track but after the tunnel is complete i notice at one end the track is not joined, and the reason, it looks like the track rule for the tunnel track is too wide. How do i rectify this? or am i creating the tunnel wrong?

The default track rule is out of gauge, it's not really meant to be used - when you lay a crossover with it, for instance, the guide rails overlap.

Use one of the other track rules, such as BathTempMain.

As much as i'm sure you meant that as a helpful responce, and for that i thank you, but i'm sure you are not suuposed to use two different track rules on the same route are you?

You can if you like, but what I'm saying is lay your normal track with a different rule; if you can, re-lay what you've already put down. The default rule really isn't ideal.

I've had a problem like this with the default rule and mixing it with the OxPadd rule. I guess, you just have to make sure that when you're laying the track in the tunnel, you're not using a different rule, cos that's the only way I can think of that would cause this to happen. Make sure that the lower box on the left hand side shows "default" as the track rule and nothing else.
