Hi, is there a site which can help me place signals and what type of signal are used etc ?

The first two were written for Rail Simulator but apply to RW as well. The third was written for MSTS, but gives a basic description of UK signalling which is useful for any Train Simulator.

In addition to my two old and somewhat out dated guides (written for Rail Simulator), and John's own document, you may also wish to look at UKTS file ref. 21473 "SR Signal Kit Installation Design Manual". Whilst this is written around my signal kits, it does include sections on how signal layouts are designed. For the RS.com signals on their Wikki help site, there are some write-ups on their colour light signals and how the general system of track links etc, work.

sorry what i meant was i need to find out for example where all the signals at birmingham new street are and what signals is used etc, as im building this route
