RSC Station pack - brick halt

Post by msey0002 »

Hi there,

I am making some alterations to Vern's fantastic Further North route, and I am trying to use the AP Brick Halt from the RSC Station pack for Georgemas Junction platform 2, which is more accurate to the real thing. However, despite this showing in the editor, it does not show in all scenarios. I have tried playing directly from editor, as well as exiting and reloading while clearing the blueprint cache. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi
Have you haven't placed it using the scenario editor instead of the world editor?
The scenario editor will just place scenery for that scenario.

regards
Phil
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

It's not an "interactive" platform, so you need to place an invisible platform just under the platform surface. The one I found works best is the 1m section out of the WCML as all the built ins are too wide.

Hi fellas, thanks for your reply.

Phil, I did indeed use the world editor, but thanks for the suggestion anyway

Vern, I will try your method tonight, now I know what invisible platforms are used for :).

cheers guys

Is it not appearing, or are the passengers not appearing?

If the passengers aren't appearing, use the above solution
If the platform itself isn't appearing, the detail level is set too low
-> doubleclick on the object in the world editor, move your cursor to the right hand side, and change the detail level to 10

Hi Jaap, thanks for your input. The passengers are indeed appearing, rather it is the platform which isn't appearing. It is strange, as my detail slider is set to 9, but I will try your method.

Thanks
