This thread should be celebrating the route is likely to get built (as I am), not a platform to discuss DM's (again) which to my mind at any rate are not a huge issue. That agenda needs to go in its own thread.

Kev - Did you build the ng locos for PP? If so, don't get me wrong they are lovely little machines but it would be nice to see some more powerful and long range ng locos which would fit on the DHR and other routes.

I was guilty for the Phorum Ng stuff.
No offence taken, I was just pointing out that they would probably struggle on the VoR in real life.

Don't worry.. i'll do it.

In the end can i have an answer about the track gauge or is a "top secret" argument?

Hi sorry,

Been a bit busy with work, the track will be RS 2ft track for use with the DHR locomotives-one of the main reasons i concidered this line. I have taken bigvern's advice and done a test dummy track to test DHR loco potential, it is a long the lines of Mr Shooters Railway. So checking curve tightness and grades.
Still awaiting Prints- given previous mailing will be around 10-20 days. So will keep playing around with the Shooter idea and see where hitches appear.
