Sorry to bump a thread, but I have had this problem and I came across this thread and I'd made the same mistake as markandjohn, so I've correct that but I'm still having the same problem! Does any body know what could be at fault here?
Danny
Have you re-exported the blueprint and got 'successful build'?
I think I have, I'll have to try again after incase I forgot...was quite late last night

And to Geoff, the problem I seem to be having is the terrain not showing, because at first I did put RailSimulatorCore instead of RailSimulator, but I have changed that and I
think I re-exported but it still didn't show. I'm going to have another go later incase I forgot, but I'm off to the East Lancs Railway now to catch some snaps of Tornado

Although the terrain should show now, just check that the kuju folders are selected in the editor, they may still be unchecked leading to the black circle of nothingness.
Personally, route building is to start in earness today, (providing I can export my decals properly). I hope to have something worth showing by tonight.

Cheers Geoff I did, although we could only get a platform tickets the Big Green Tornado was certainly still a great sight

Met some interesting people and saw Railworks: Tornado Edition on sale on their Tornado stall

Got into a conversation with the stall-runner-person about Railworks too
And back to Railworks routes, I'm positive the kuju box was checked, but either way, I'm starting my route template again as I've got too confused on what I have and what I supposedly haven't done

I've gathered up some information though which has cheered me up a bit, gradient profiles and such. I'm trying my hardest not to say what route I'm building as I don't want to get anyones hopes up, but I think some other people may have it planned and I also want to finish this one as its a bit easier (and closer

) than the St Ives Branch (although I am still going to finish that at some point

)
Thanks for the help so far guys!

Danny

Hi Danny
I went on a trip behind Tornado last year. The only problem with that is although you are being pulled along by the loco, you don't get much time to see it. The people in the fields and stations get the best view
Get back if you have a problem with the route template. Don't forget that you can use RW Tools to create the route template as well, which is a bit quicker than the manual method.

But at least you get to say you've been on a train pulled by it
I have now cracked it, I jsut deleted everything and started completely from scratch...I do have one query though, according to your tutorial, it should end up with two folders...with the same name but a BIN and an xml file, but I appear to have two TGT files too? I'm not sure where these are from or if they're needed?

HI Danny
.tgt .cost and .bak files are not needed and can be completely deleted. They are created in the conversion process and seem to have a temporary use.
When uploading a route or asset, it is good practice to remove all of these files as they just bloat out the files. Large numbers of these files can be removed with R W Tools (used carefully) or smaller numbers can be put in the waste bin.
