Route Markers from Google Earth

I am trying to follow the tutorial on Route Marker Creation I've saved the file from GE loaded it up in Excel deleted the irrelevant and resaved the relevant columns as a csv file and copied it over to my RouteMarkers folder.

When I go to Blueprints it shows up there fine however when I click it there is no export option. Right clicking only gives the option to copy or delete. Is there something I'm missing here? or is this not a good way to mark out the route?

Also for gradients how do I enter them when laying the track? For instance if my reference source says the gradient is 60 what value would I enter?

Thanks

Re route markers, you are better off using RW Tools to convert the kml files to csv then set up the blueprint ready to export in the Railworks Blueprint Editor.

Gradient values are entered in the gradient field that appears in the lower left pop out, when working with track or other lofts. The value entered will depend on the track rule you're working with. The UK track rules use 1 in xxx convention, in which case you would enter a 1 in 100 gradient as 100.00 (or -100.00 going downhill). The US trackrules tend to use % in which case you would enter 1.0 or -1.0. The German track rules use mil (i.e. parts of a thousand) so you would enter 10.00 or -10.00. If you're not sure what system your chosen track rule uses, lay a short stretch of level track first, select it and the figures at the bottom of the screen will tell you whether the gradient is 1 in, mil or %.

Thanks I had completly forgotten about RWTools a registered copy I had from way back when, will give it a go.

I'm determined to get over the initial learning curve and get a route going for myself.

Please help,

I lost my original .kml file, now I have only new .csv file (and old .kml file).
I want that be my .kml file like .csv file.

So, who knows how to convert FROM .CSV to .KML file ?
