Ive been trying to set up a new route in Rail Works - so far so good, got the coordinates sorted, and got the route to appear. Ive also downloaded the right DEM data.
Following the instructions on the RW Tools editor help, and from bits ive found on the UKTS forum I managed to get some the hills to appear. Having done a couple round the start point of the route I thought id take a break, try and get a marker file sorted out and then go back and only create the terrain I actually needed.
No joy with the marker file so using a few coordinates I started working my way down the route plotting it out a bit. I then went to raise the terrain along a few more sections and now get the following message:
tried this a few times, no joy. So deleted the route and set it up again, now i can't get any terrain at all, same error as before. Have I missed a trick here? Or do I need to have something selected or ticked to get this to work?Something bad happened in your program, would you like to see a diagnostic file? If you click no it crashes out of RW, if you click yes it doesnt bring up a file and again crashes out of RW.
Cheers Chris
