Anyone interested in a Wang tutorial on the art of RailWorks?
While I understand that users want more terrain textures, the fact is I will not be making more textures for Core.
However, There is nothing to stop people making their own terrain texture sets.
Making your own terrain textures is one of the best ways to make your route stand out from the rest.

A good show of hands and I'll do a step by step guide over the weekend and try to keep it simple.
I'll even look to use Gimp which is freeware, Ben Laws Ace tool to convert so really no excuses about expensive software.
Of course it means I will have to get my learn on too.
:)

I will make the source set from tutorial available to all too.

regards

Derek

Hi,
So long as its at "texture level 101" then I am all for giving it a go.
I do appreciate your efforts at educating me. (It is possible :) )

Using Gimp would mean no need for "translation" so I have a chance of succeeding. After all, it will be just another few (dozen) hours of free home education. I do love this hobby :D .
