Good Track?

Post by Irishrailguy »

Hi everyone,

Until I get my proper computer up and running again (my hard drive was corrupted AGAIN! and I lost all my route projects) I'm looking for some good assets for my fictional Wales coastline route. So does anyone know where I can get some good 3rd party track? I'm looking for the stuff with the high quality 3d sleepers, like in the IOW route and the upcoming WCML north route. Also II'd prefer ones that I can download from somewhere apart from UKTS as my premium a/c ran out a while ago and I'm not up to renewing it.

Thanks

You can download ScaleRail from the forums of 3DTrains.com and also the orange 3D track might be on the Spanish site.

Doesn't over use of 3D track have an adverse effect on frame rates?

Yes, so I wouldn't use it in large yards and places like that.

Thanks trainguy76 that scale rail file is just what I'm looking for, I can't wait to get my railworks up and running again and try it out! Though what Spanish site was that exactly? could you post a link to it? That would be greatly appreciated thanks.

It's probably on here, young man - http://www.quattrostudios.net/portal_qd ... y&catid=73

Or, it might be on here, there are 3 pages of Railworks content, it's all top quality stuff - http://www.trensim.com/lib/rs/

And if you really like Spanish stuff, have a look on here also - http://www.railsim.es/descargas.asp

Thanks for the help Transport Steve but I'm not sure if thats the one, if theres any confusion over this I'm looking for the 'orange track' from Keith Ross' WCML route, if anybody has an idea on where that might be? However if Keith made it himself I'll send him a PM. Thanks.
