Bayko ... there is a group of Bayko enthusiasts who exhibited at the Brighton ModelWorld.
UKTS, RailSimulator.com and Bayko all in the same place ... who could ask for more

Indeed. Yes, they exhibited at the LT Museum Depot at Acton a couple of years back. Tremendous!

Thanks for the kind comments - the bloke in the shot is trying to work out why there's no front door, by the way.
Ah, Bayko. I spent many, many hours playing with a set at my nan's back in the day. It was a damn site quicker building a house with Bayko than it is using 3DCrafter (or is that just me?).
Cheers

Hi Bob, your houses look really good - well done for all that work it's really paying off.
If you're into variants, would you mind varying the colour of the brick - back then many/most houses were built with brick from locally sourced clay which thus tended to impose a "brick colour" on the houses nearby. Viz Cambridge with very light colours - buff or even cream.
Anyway, really looking forward to seeing the new route & the houses.

Hi Ruth
Thanks for your kind comment. I'm not sure my model making is up to your standards though.

At the moment I'm not really planning anything as such, they just turn out how they turn out depending on whatever source textures I find at the time. Not very scientific, I know.
Anyway, you've reminded me about these:
Cheers

Great work Bob. I love the walls also. Your roofs are also varied and different from the standard shape with merging of different sections of the building. Excellent all round.
Kind regards James

Hi Bob,
What you've done so far is more than fine.
Please have a poke about here:
http://images.ivimey.org/index.php?cat=3 for possible textures. I've been taking lots of pics around Cambridge, so perhaps some will strike a chord with you. Even if not, am still eagerly looking forward to the upload
Will you be uploading the curved brick wall too? It looks great as well.
