This like a hurdle race, over come one and then another appears?!

Cleared the route now with RW_Tools (apart from the 'known' Oak Tree!) and got to checking the scenarios.

Running both thru the checker brought up this litle message up in a box:

"Error - Path not found occurred loading frmKickstart value of a= 6"

When you click it off though the scenario contents appear as if nothing happened so gues it is a problem with the XML file?

Answers on a postcard please...going to see if they load from RW; wish me luck!

.. later .. Well, as I feared, neither of the two provided scenarios load (for me anyway) giving the dreaded "Something bad ..." message.

Oh well, and others say the route is great ... maybe I will never be able to find out?!

Today I've done some signaling improvements and changed all the junctions into automatic. Also changed the track layout a bit at one of the station (cant think of the name now - the one before the underground terminus). Also started continuing to build more.
Random Photo's for today.

Version 2 of the route will be upload in the next few days. 7 More miles of route, 2 new stations, some signal updates on the route, all mainline junctions changed into automatic.
Now working one some scenarios. 1 Scenario done a couple more to go!

damn thats strange... i gave it to a friend to test it and he said it works fine..... what shall i do now?
should i just re-upload the file? the rar works fine for me...nothing corrupted etc.
maybe something went wrong while i was uploading it because i actually uploaded it twice (before it got approved).... first i uploaded it.... then i seen a couple of things to correct in the game.... i corrected and then i uploaded like a updated version.

Don't know what to suggest really?

I did 'repair' the RWP file but it still wouldn't allow RW to run it despite passing route/scenario checks with RW_Tools?

Maybe you should re-pack the raw files again with the packager. If you PM me when you have done that I will give you my address so you can send it me and I will test it?

.. later .. I have replied to your PM?

Looks great.
Question: Do I still need IOW and other payware stuff to use this free route?

Thanks!
IOW is the only payware route that you need to make it work.

I am gonna upload the route again (just the rwp file)
Traveller54 - My other friend tested what i send you and he said he has no problems running it. So ill just try uploading it again and see what happens.I'll see if i get any more people having troubles.

Thanks Lukas. I have the latest from the library and checked it thru RW_Tools without any errors, installed it OK using package manager and then loaded the route using 'free roam'.

Regretably I still get a RailworksProc.exe error box (not a 'Something bad ..."?). Completly bafled why this should happen with this route and all my others are OK?

One thing that did occur to me I do have IoW & Containers and I did install the Dublin assets as you outlined - should I have the whole Dublin route as well?

Traveller54 No you don't need the whole route.
I seriously don't understand why it works for some people and doesn't for others. I am after re-installing railworks, installing the needed assets and then the route. No problems with running it.

The route works great for me Lukas. Nice job.

The only problem I'm having is that I cannot get a Class 390 to path from Reading to Radley. I'm wondering if there's a break somewhere in the electric lines?

Here's what I did:

1. Cloned the Express to Radley scenario with RW_Tools, then opened the cloned scenario with RW_Tools and deleted all but the lead engine of the player train. I then replaced the lead engine with the "A" unit of the VT Class 390 (Horgy's repaint).

2. Opened the scenario in RW and added the rest of the VT Class 390 consist.

Result: The train will not path to Hadley Platform 1.

Next I tried the following:

1. Cloned the scenario again with RW_Tools, then opened it in RW and deleted the HST player train.

2. Replaced the HST with the VT Class 390, made this the player train and simply set Hadley Platform 1 as the destination in the Driver Icon and added a Passenger Drop/Pickup icon with Hadley Platform1 as the location.

Result: The train will not path to Hadley Platform 1

Finally, I deleted the Class 390 in RW editor, replaced it with a OoveeCo VT HST, made it the player train, set the destinations in the Driver icon and the Passenger Drop/Pickup as above, and it paths correctly to Hadley Platform 1.

I'm baffled. Has anyone else got a 390 to run from Reading to Radley? BTW, I have the recent 390 update installed, as well as Horgy's latest version of the repaint. It works fine in other routes.

Great route, though. Very atmospheric and easy on the frame rates :) Looking forward to your future work on it.

Thanks a lot.

Anyway i am building a new branch line (quite long this time) ill guess its about 12-14 miles long and 6 stations.
Here are some photos of whats going on.

Lukas ...

Yes. I don't think the problem is with my RW setup. I can place the 390 in any other route (with electrified runs) and have it path just fine.

I'll probably re-install your route and try again to get it to work. I'll get back to you if I can't figure it out.

Thanks.
