Track type mysteriously changed

I was merely changing the line speed on a section of my route and I somehow managed to change the track type changed to "example"
So now I have a line of red rails that I can't get rid off.
does anyone know how to change it back to another track type?

Thanks, Kevin

in the same right hand pop up menu where you change the line speed you can also change the track type.
or does this not work?

Actually that did work for some of the track, but there is one stubborn bit left, where the options in the right fly-out are "unchanged" or "example".
I tried changing the track rules on the bottom left flyout, but that had no effect.

Thanks,
Kevin

if its just a small bit, then you could easily delete it and put a new piece in, or does this not work as well?

Thanks to everyone who has responded to this query.

I too am having this problem. I followed the developers guidelines(log), on the development of the Test Track for RW.
I first used all the same track type (yard), to have the proper radius's, and then I went back to change/adjust the track type and the only option I get for most options is "unchanged".

Also, I CAN get "track rules" to work, but the Track isn't listed Under "Current Rule set"...Somehow I've basically applied the rule to ALL track in the list...which I'm sure is part of my problem.

Any Ideas? Thanks again for the help.

That's what I ended up doing in the end.
