I have complied a list of required assets which you will need to this route http://www.scribd.com/doc/24325070/Requ ... 2-2009-V1b - With the freeware assets I will be asking the developer permission to include the asset with the route. Il update the list with any new items and if I can include the assets in the same package as the route.

*** UPDATE 20/12/2009 @ 19:47

Ok, I guess now I will need to update the assets list, I have got permission for 4/5 assets to be included with the route (currently), Just awaiting the responce from JADSHome about his platform stop signs, and the Level Crossing pack on closer inspection said it could be aslong as I include the readme, and Darpor gave me his blessing to include his Information signs, and BRSign with the route.

END UPDATE :)

*** UPDATE 20/12/2009 @ 22:27

Thats it! 5/5 :) I will need to update the list now  And a BIG thank you to Darpor, JADSHome and jjasloot who didn't give me permission directly, but said it can be used on the description of the LC Pack (Still going to say Thank You) for letting me include their assets with the route :)

END UPDATE :)

Here are a few images I have just prepared

Image

In these two images you can see the assets which Darpor and JADSHome allowed me to release with the route

Well gotta have another Pendolino teaser

Ok, Today I have been playing with scenery, and I have also had to increase the length of some of the platforms because of the 390 and the fact the front ends have passenger doors unlike HST's which I used to gauge the platform lengths. Images won't be along for a while, maybe the first week of Jan because I am really going for it now the next update will be a big one! :)

Having looking around this forum mainly on the WCML South - People are having concerns about the figure of 60quid to use it this is INCORRECT, the ONLY payware item which is required is the IOW route. All other payware items are optional for the scenarios. :)

I had a look at them, I liked them but I don't understand how to use them :  I'll have a look at them after I have released the first beta of the route later this month.

Re: WIP - High Speed Country Line (HSCL) - Nearly ready for beta

Post by RyanT001 »

Right, the route is nearly ready for beta testing I don't know if I should do a public beta version or selective testers only - All you require is the IOW addon and I will be including all the freeware addons in a zip file.

I am currently in the process of doing some scenarios and a bit of signalling - Beta 1 will only have minimal signalling on release.

Public beta would mean you should get more feedback although if you do selective (not your mates etc) then you know they wont lie to you

I was thinking about the public beta because of that very reason, from a development point of view I think it will be ready for release sometime next week maybe towards the end of the week. Just a bit more scenery, signalling, quick testing, scenario creation and writing of the manual to do.

Just in the process of creating and testing some basic scenarios and tweaking some scenery and signals. The beta scenarios won't have AI services, just simple quick "A-to-B scenarios, I don't see much point doing complex scenarios because the route will be extended when feedback starts to come in from Beta 1. So Beta 2 will be bug fixes,a few more stations and better signalling I think

Beta 2 might be a while off because I can't do signalling
