I see manuel you get the slghtly shimmering shadows too. I though it was just me who got that.
Re: To Appleby (Settle & Carlisle V5 - TS2012)
Has anyone else suffered graphics and sound problems with this scenario?
All starts well, then after a couple of minutes the cab gauges start flickering. A couple of minutes later, flashing coloured discs appear in the centre of the cab gauges, then the spacebar and "B" key stop working to sound the horns (although the horns still work correctly with the mouse). A minute or two later, the illuminated warning lights in the cab above the gauges start flickeirng as well. The whole experience is very offputting while trying to drive in cab view.
Interestingly, I have set up my own scenario on "South Devon Banks" with the same loco (GW150 Sir Edward Elgar) and everything works fine.
Really weird.

Just checked it out, and seems to be related to the transparency of the windscreen texture, since it only happens when looking at the shadows through it, the shimmering disappears when pressing "8" and moving around the loco.TheTazman wrote:I see manuel you get the slghtly shimmering shadows too. Must check other models and see if it is also present with them.

Seems then it happens in ccertain circumstances. I am not sure if its a shadow bug or not then?

Hi, Just found out what was causing the "shimmering shadows" syndrome, at least in my case. It was the fact that I was forcing RW3 to use 16x anisotropic filtering through Nvidia control panel. Just changed the option from 16x to "controlled by application", and that seems to have cured it.
Hope that helps others.

Yes! I get exactly that, ive emailed Meshtools about it. Very odd, only happens on the S & C route.Has anyone else suffered graphics and sound problems with this scenario?
