Looks interesting. I'll assume it's a fictional scenario, as the Edinburgh - Queen St services used a headcode of 1Oxx in the 80's WTT I've got. 1O45 was the 1730 from Waverley

That's interesting, did the ScR have different codes for inter-regional trains then, as from what I've read O denoted a destination in the Southern Region?malkymackay wrote:Looks interesting. The normal code of O still applied to trains to the Southern Region, but they seem to have been applied to the portions from Glasgow Central. The Edinburgh portions generally ran with a code of C. There were other letters that were duplicated within the region. Y was used for Arbroath-Dundee-Perth services, as well as services to/from North Berwick, the Glasgow Central-Edinburgh route & also West Highland workings

You are correct Mr Mackay!
It's a sort of semi fictional real effort, set in '89 but with services from the day I made the scenario. I have full times for that period but no headcode data. (Would you like to share
) There are possibly a few "unreal" portions really, specifically the 318's which I wasn't sure about in terms of livery, would they have carried the orange livery with the "Strathclyde Transport" logo as opposed to SPT in this era, not long after they were introduced?
Despite this, it's a nice enough scenario, plenty to keep you on your toes and annoy you.

That's why they say ignorance is bliss: I was having fun just the same until you came up with headcodes and so on...
Not a word about the freaking vid, I see...

Never mind that, how have they ended up so far away from their native Glasgow habitatThere are possibly a few "unreal" portions really, specifically the 318's which I wasn't sure about in terms of livery, would they have carried the orange livery with the "Strathclyde Transport" logo as opposed to SPT in this era, not long after they were introduced?
And yes, the original livery until the early 1990s was with the original logo as opposed to their 'SPT' emblems.
