Hello MrAngelo,
And thank you for the fantastic contribution you are making to RW standards and for sharing your efforts with us, much appreciated.
Any chance of a 'first' name instead of MrAngelo?

Manuel, you can run this baby on any of the European routes that you have downloaded, I assume that they drive on the right hand side which is OK for European signalling.
I've had it on the big Denmark 2000 route which is miles long and got her up to a good speed, or, the German layouts, Italian, etc, anything's better than the Test Track.....LOL
Cheerz. Steve.

Other than the IHH Western, I think this has to be my favourite Diesel for Railworks. The engine spoolup is fantastic (sounds like a TU154 taking off!), difficult to control, more switches than an Averate FSX airliner, looks rusty and beaten up. I mean, who couldnt love it!
One question I will ask, did the build a standard gauge version of this locomotive? Only Im sure I noticed photographs online of them in Czech and Polish state railway colours. Id also be curious to know it they were ever used in the Former East Germany.
Cracking work anyway, Im sure we will all look forward to what the developers come up with next.

I'm going to use it as a US industrial... it's leagues beyond any of the real switchers available ( that I've come across anyway ). Looks vaguely Alco-ish anyway.
Google gave me a Polish one pretty fast, they're standard gauge, no?

@ kariban TEM2 Shunter are Soviet-build ALCO RSD1(wikipedia says it), Original ALCO RSD1 was exported to USSR during WW2 as lend lease treaty (58 pieces in 3 batches respectively 69/ 11 lost on sea during german U boat attack) Jack

Yes, I discovered that *after* the fact

I love the way an essentially pre-war design is still in common use ( although I guess the 08 is almost exactly the same ).
Some seem to have modern cabs, I much prefer the one in the model. Anyway having re-exported one to the US and fitted suitable couplers, it makes all the US stock I own look toylike. doh.

Sorry for bump, but having just installed the loco into RW2 thought I must post what a magnificent beast it is.
Built to the same high standard as the recent TRS Russian locos and rolling stock, superb physics both on the throttle and the brake and two separate soundsets for inside and out. I've been hauling some Mark 3 coaching stock on the Port Road with it.
One thing to watch, if you save the scenario and return later, you need to run the EPK startup and hit vigilance before you can use the throttle again.
Plenty of learning points on this model for RSC and the payware loco developers...

Hmmm, I think that is hardly likely any time soon, Vern. The only person who's offered us something anywhere close is Dave Brindley, also freeware content, incidentally. The Russians and Chinese developers have been at it since MSTS, they're light years ahead of everyone else, I'll be retired before the Brits and Americans catch up.
Cheerz. Transport Steve.

Having also driven the Russian M62 in Trainz (I think it's by the same guys) and downloaded their superb coaching stock I'm looking forward to seeing versions of these in RW.
At which point, I think Google Earth might get an outing along Lake Baikal!!

I'm very impressed with the sounds of the loco and the tank wagons in this package.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use these wagon sounds on the default stock?
