Thanks Manuel.

Gav, it used to carry a track over to the south end of the yard but isn't in use any more, not entirely sure what it was required for though. I am also thrilled that you noticed it! Makes it worth putting in all of the finer details.

I'm not sure but doesn't it end up going over the road via a bridge thus making it more trouble to take out than leave there? Been a couple of weeks now since I last passed tyne yard.

Yeah, to be honest, I imagine it will be there until the thing is about to collapse and cause a danger.

I am a bit stuck for locations to use at the moment as there both placeholders and objects along the route that are not intended to be seen yet.

A Grand Central HST arrives at Northallerton on a lovely autumn evening with 1N28.

Image

A Grand Central HST heads back to Heaton early one morning after being withdrawn from 1A60 due to 43080 failing near Pelaw.

To be honest Manuel, you ain't seen nothing yet! As I stated above, I am limited to the locations I can choose to take screenshots because there are certain items/objects that cannot be shown as yet. Apologies if that is more of a tease, I don't intend to!

Apart from those last two shots there hasn't been a great deal shown of the route recently so here are a few from the Low Fell/Tyne Yard area.

A pair of Class 86 locomotives head for the up slow avoider past Tyne Yard on a diverted intermodal working.

Image

60044 brings some empty hoppers off the main line at Low Fell.

Image

An NXEC HST powers through Low Fell whilst forming a southbound service to Kings Cross.

Image

60015 passes a southbound Class 66 loaded with imported coal.

Image

Finally, 60015 approaches Tyne Yard and heads for the Tyne South Arrival gate.
