Re: SAD's Altenburg to Wildau
It is made out of 2 loft sections. (SAD single rail in de misc loft section menu)chaddockdk wrote:Love the pics SAD, whered does the rails in the crossing on the last pic come from?

This loft was already in my first version of my route. It can be used for a various of things. I also use them to build abandoned tracks, so they won't get on the map.

Yes indeed..Foliage is so great to make. It is much more fun messing around with textures and game engine to have the best result, than making a building. Making a building is comparing to this nothing more than a easy textured box.RSderek wrote:Nice trees Sad, hmmm foliage.
I think that the pine trees could be a little more bleu than green..

Re: SAD's Altenburg to Wildau
Hi,
In my route I have a small problem, my watersurface (reflective one) only reflects a object when it is selected in editor mode. (see pictures)
Is this a problem only in my route(template)? Does anyone have the same in my route, or is it a problem of my own graphic settings.
Thanks!
ps. The ship is not finished yet. (baking and detailing).

As far as I know only few materials are reflected by the water.
For sure sky and terrain.
Look at this
http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic ... IP_130.jpg
Quite odd. You can see reflected only the terrain but not the vegetation
Maybe RS.com guys can explain this better.

looks good SAD
to reflect other objects in the water, you must set the graphical settings in RW to "very high".
then you can see the reflection of any other object in the water. of course you must choose the reflective water surface.

Hi
I noticed this only this week,i have maxed out settings, and reflective water but when trying to mimic a photo of a class 37 on the Fowey branch i have, were the loco and stock are reflected in the water,i could not get the same effect in RW,but as Sad has pointed out some items reflect but not others.
Regards
Kevin

Re: SAD's Altenburg to Wildau
AFAIK, the only items that won't reflect are procedural items, with exception to the start, middle, and end geometry objects contained within.
