Hi Mike,

can't say I have and can't get on to rail-sim.de at the moment to check them out, however, I'd hazard a guess that you may need to copy a texture file from the base model for it to work.

Rik.
Hi Rik,

Problem solved by using the .GeoPcDx file that is included in another of 'Dave's' packages for Avmz/Bimz reskins. The packages for the 3 problem coaches did not contain a .GeoPcDx themselves, and in fact it was the ..../Default /Coach .GeoPcDx that was the problem. It is automatically copied across by the .bat file included in the downloaded files, but for some reason the 3 re-skinned coaches refused to work with that Default item; although strangely, one of them did.

Cheers!

Hi all,
First of all... Thanks SAD for the most wonderful route built! :D :D :D

I found some missing stock that I wonder about. This is the answer from RWTools, missing stock:

GermanRailroads\Rollmaterial\personenw\mint-abn\mint-abn.bin
GermanRailroads\Rollmaterial\personenw\mint-bn\mint-bn.bin
GermanRailroads\Rollmaterial\personenw\re-abn\re-abn.bin
GermanRailroads\Rollmaterial\personenw\re-bn\re-bn.bin
GermanRailroads\Rollmaterial\steuerw\mint-bdnzrf\mint-bdnzrf.bin

I have installed the DB_D-ZUG. Is there any other download that is including these wagons?

Hi Dick and welcome to UKTS.

The items you listed are payware from German Railroads, however, from which pack I am not sure as they have revised their offerings since the original RS release and did not revise them for RW.

I'd hazard a guess they're from the old BR 143 pack which appears to have been superseded by the 112/114 pack.

Hope this helps,

Rik.

I have a small problem, I am trying to make simple timetabled senario from Altenburg to Wildau stoping at all stations. One of the stops is at Koblitz Gleis 3, however my train is always sidetracked to Koblitz Gleis 2 and then on to siding 7 and the buffers. the only way I can stop this happening is to use Gleis 4 which is the wrong side for the local line. The junction that sidetracks the train before Gleis 3 is very complicated and does not have a blue spot showing on it using the 2d map view, so I cannot manualy change it.

Am I doing something wrong or am i missing something?

Any help from anybody gratefully received
I have been trying this out and I am not sure why you are having a problem. Using a timetabled scenario marker I have had both a player train and a AI train succesfully path through Gleiss 3 and even the player train via Gleiss 1 at Koblitz and then onto Koblitz West. It sounds like you are trying to do this with a free roam scenario ?

If there was one small suggestion for "improvement" I could suggest for any update to the route it would it in relation to the passenger markers lining up with the end of the passenger platforms as there are some that are either a little short or a little long and some just right. :)

On some stations I have kept the invisble platform very short. Doors won't open on places where no characters are. Otherwise a small local station will be overloaded with characters on the whole platform..not very realistic. The markers are placed over the full length. (I will check this also for next update..so thanks for comment)
Also in next update are new assets included for the new scenario's. See my blog for some shots,

Ahh, I did not know that about the invisible platform etc and I therefore understand the reasons for the way you have done it. Changing the marker lengths is probably not needed then as I thought the loading was related to the marker position in some way. Thanks for a great route and assets and I look forward to your next update.

Hi Folks!

More than 3000 people downloaded my route..so I think just like the movies, a second version would be welcome;
Now I am working at a addon for my route. A fix for some bugs and a new section added. This will be a single track line to Hosvenn (beginning was already made in Wildau)
Also many new objects will be added..Follow my blog for new screenshots..

Great to hear you are extending this magnificent layout Sir. Nice pics on your blog, that viaduct at Hosvenn looks excellent. Keep up the wonderful work.

WIP - working on scenery for the addon section from Wildau to Hosvenn of my route. It wil be very rural and atmospheric, for playing around with old loco's.
Here some previews taken from the trackside.
