I think the maximum a Black 5 can take over the West Highland Line ( Glasgow - Fort William ) is 8 Mk1's. Certainly 2 years ago when we were taking 45407 to Fort Bill after the 1T57 Anniversairy, we went up with 1 Mk2 and 7 Mk1's.
