Like the Western shot, I really must do a scenario for it.
Looking forward to that ;)

Its actually turning out better than I hoped. Admittedly there are some issues on arrival in Bristol (I really need to get some better paths sorted), but the rest of it works fine. It starts off chasing yellows outside Exeter St Davids (behind a Class45 hauling Railfreight hoppers), then you have to open it up to arrive in Taunton on time. In the end I was just hovering on the speed limit at 100mph downhill on Whiteball, and arrived barely 5 seconds late. Considering I was 5 minutes late at about 15 minutes from arrival, I thought that was some achievement. 8) The only negative I can see is that as its a nightime scenario, and that its based on an actual 1981 timetable, traffic is a bit sparse.

I keep meaning to get the 57, but I really want to hold out till OVEE does the 57/3 as used by FGW on the night riviera service. Some sleepers (Mk1 and Mk3) would also be very popular Im sure.

As for the 50, its often forgot its usual stomping ground pre mid 70s was the WCML. So its entirely justifiable to do some scenarios on the WCML North route. In fact, I gather to get over Beattock, they often double headed....

Incidentally, if anyone wants any BR inspiration for realistic timetables, Ive found this invaluable. Its also a lot of fun. :)

I use it, too, I find it quite useful, in combination with the "pause" key. This is what I do:

(I always take shots in "8" view, this way I can move freely around the "target")

1.- Hit pause
2.- Ajdust angle using arrow keys.
3.- Hit "Ctrl + S", (the ugly grey pop-up options screen was a pain at the beginning, but I found out it didn't show when capturing using this method) ;)
4.- Open the captured image (PNG format) with IRFanView, resize if needed, keeping aspect ratio, and save it as JPG.

I hope that helps.
