Stunning stuff. I have used 3 monitors breifly in the past. You could hear my desk creaking under the weight, as they were all 15 inch CRT'sstyckx wrote:This is by far the most awesome thing ever... 3 monitors is incredible
With reference to previous comments about wide shots, 3 monitors side by side could take up more than half a street. If you don't beleive me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebenezer_Place,_Wick - my hometown has claim to something
Richard, that's very, very nice.

It is! I'm in heaven! If anyones curious how this presents itself from my end. Here is a pic. Last thing I need to do is buy one more monitor to replace the center one so I have exactly 3 of the same. Just noticed the 3rd monitor isn't set to sRBG..

Exeter looks great across those three screens - almost gives RW's a model railway feel with it looking more like a scenic diorama!

Re: A Little Bit Of Atmosphere! 4
No thank god, they're expensive. I'm using an ATI 5870. Two of the monitors are hooked up via VGA cable using a normal DVI-VGA adapter off the graphics card, than the third monitor is hooked up using a DVI-D cable that is connected to the card via an active DisplayPort-DVI-D adapter. It's the Active DisplayPort adapter that is the key to making 3 monitors work w/ the newer ATI cards. Then you can Eyefinity your monitors into one giant monitor and off you go.CaptScarlet wrote:Bill, do you need to use one of those triple head 2go things with that monitor setup ?

Hello Bill
I'm glad I'm not paying your electricity bill for powering three monitors
Kind regards Stephen

Crikey!!!!! That setup makes my single 15in thing look rather insignificant - an upgrade is required methinks.
