Dunsfold Park

Hopefully I've sorted out Displaying these screen shots so here we go!
Yes it's the Top Gear Test track. Don't laugh. I Like Rail Sim's, Flight Sim's and Top Gear so I thought to my self, why don't I combine the lot and Build Dunsfold Park as a bit of fun. Now I've never been to Dunsfold or the surrounding area so I used the Brilliant RWDecal for the first time and used my imagination to fill in the gaps as it were. It's still a WIP but the bulk of the scenery is complete. I'm now doing some scenario's for the first time too. The terrain is flat as most airfields are and as of yet I haven't mastered importing lumps and bumps yet. It's as near as I can get it with "Wot I Got" and still some more detail work to do but I would like to thank all the asset creators for all the assets I've used in making this bit of Fun. I have no plans to upload this and if any of the content in this Thread is inappropriate then please remove it.

Regards Jezza. No, Sorry, Jerry.

And some others......... :-?

Might not be to everybody's taste, but remember. "It's only a Game"

Haha love it, I have been to Dunsfold airshow a few times and this looks like a good representation. I think a lot of the time we do take things too seriously, please do release it!

I did lol. :D

It's possibly the craziest idea I have seen but I do like the idea! Bravo to you for showing it.

I actually wet myself at the descriptions, it followed the Top Gear track and then we got to "some fountains", that was it!

Very good idea and looks fun. Maybe add Overheads? Or have it 3rd rail mode so we can run electrics?

If it wasn't for RWDecal I wouldn't have even attempted it. I've still got a lot of work to do with it with regard to finishing touches and making some scenarios up which I've never done before. Plus I would need to find out who's assets I've used as I haven't kept track of what I have used. Pay-ware is involved as well and I've never uploaded anything before either.

Jerry.

Glad you like it. And yes it is a bit of fun. You just try taking a Class 47 around it without errrr, can I say this? coming of the rails. Best time of just over 3 min's so far! Bet the Stig can't beat that...
Jerry.

Some GARL assets have been used and I think my famous Fountains use a steam effect from the light Pacific Pack. The flames for the Bonfire I haven't got a clue where they came from, they just appeared. Trouble is I tick all the boxes in the Asset provider list, be it single items to complete routes, so my list of things to use is rather big. There must be a way to list what I've used? RWTools?
Jerry.

Oh, and I did think about adding overheads but I didn't want to clutter up the airfield with gantries. Sorry. :(

If its any help, if you use the 3rd rail in the options instead of overhead there won't be any wires and all of the electric stock will work on it :) (even overhead wire stock) (no wires or 3rd rail will show so you won't need the IOW route)

Dude You have to let me make a Top gear lap video with this route :P

Maybe that could be the new thing on this forum? Setting lap times on the top gear test track in your chosen locomotive? That would be awesome!!!! :D:D:D
