Re: Glasgow Airport Rail Link
Hello, I am thinking about buying this but I only have the 390 addon. Does this come with any 390 routes?

I think best routes for the 390 would be the WCML north or the Newcastle-York Modern route. But no routes are supplied with the 390

Ok, I am new to all of this so I just read all 20 pages to figure out what WCML is. If I want the WCML and the Glasgow Airport Rail Link Add-on will this come to a total of 80$ or does WCML count as an extension of one of these or what? Thanks for the quick response.kirkheath wrote:I think best routes for the 390 would be the WCML north or the Newcastle-York Modern route. But no routes are supplied with the 390

Hi taylorb, taylorb wrote: Ok, I am new to all of this so I just read all 20 pages to figure out what WCML is.
Have a look at this page in the Steam Store

There's quite a good description of the route, stock and scenarios.

Great job on what you did by the way, but it doesn't say anything about 390's being allowed here but from your thread it looks like you tested the 390 on there so I assume since I have that it will work on there. In my previous question I am wondering if "GARL" as you guys call it is somewhat included in this or if they are completely separate because I thought I remember reading in your thread that you had to wait for that to be released to continue or something.keithmross wrote:Hi taylorb, taylorb wrote: Ok, I am new to all of this so I just read all 20 pages to figure out what WCML is.

Re: Glasgow Airport Rail Link
The 390 is a pack of just that alone, you will have to buy another route seperate. Although, You can run the 390 on ANY Electrified route. That means it can be run on "Glasgow airport rail link (GARL)", "WCML - West Coast Main Line Carisle - Glasgow" or "Newcastle - York Modern" add on. Now all routes mentioned above can run the 390 but is sold seperately.
However, a class 380 is supplied with GARL, and a class 86 and some MK2 carriages are supplied with the WCML route. Finally, the Newcastle-York Modern comes with 4 HST reskins.
Hope this helps a little
