Its not because i get too many errors on W&B since recent updates....to RW
I don't want to risk Murphy's law falling on me here, lol, but I haven't had issues with W&B for a while, mate, I did have problems with SWW, but it's OK now, after the latest update... :-?

Whoever did that XC reskin certainly did a very good job. The picture's darn good too. I really should get round to buying IOW. Those track make the train look even better.

Thanks, I agree, the XC reskin is excellent, it's UKTS File ID: 21716, by Hyperen, from whom I haven't heard for a while, by the way.

An absolutely brilliant addon. One of the best yet in my eyes. Thanks loads Derek,it really adds to the game!

I have started creating a scenario from 1965 (using my 1965 Scottish Region timetable) for Port Road V3. Involves a 101 on a Carlisle-Kirkcudbright and return service. You drive it out and back from Dumfries.

Here are a few shots:

A 24 passes our service with a rake of empty mineral wagons heading north.

Image

Image
A Brush Type 4 approaches the station, the 24 has stopped to allow us to exit the station.

Image
The 101 powers up the 1 in 73 away from Maxwelltown Junction

Image
And this is the furthest i have got with the test till Monday, first stop at Dalbeattie.

Cheers,
Mark

Electrification of the mainline is under way and the days of diesel running here are coming to an end. A local service run by a Class 101 passes under a neutral section just north of Manningtree as a Class 47 hauled Intercity service leaves the station.

That Port Road scenario looks excellent. Looks like I'll have to get this 101. This game is getting expensive.
