Can't edit my own scenario?

Post by ttjph »

Sorry, I'm sure I've missed something really basic - but I've just started trying to create my first scenario.

I went to play it to test the first few instructions, then exited to the main menu (couldn't see an obvious way to return to editing the scenario, as opposed to the route) but when I returned to the Scenario Editor the "Edit Scenario" for the one I'd just created was greyed out, as was Delete.

Urgh, I use CAD software most of the day at work and I'm pretty fluent with that, but I'm not liking this editor yet...

How do I get back into the editor for this scenario?

Thanks!

Sounds like the route on which you created the scenario is 'Locked'. See RW Creator Manual_Web.pdf document pages 5 & 6 for details. If you go into the World Editor and click on the padlock icon bottom right it will open and unlock the route. You should then have full functionality in the scenario and world editors.
