New to 2012

Post by Kampuchea »

Hi

After being allowed to buy a new computer I finally made the shift to 2012. Love it.

Couple of questions.

Is there a way to turn off some of the default equipment when making a scenario? For example all the US engines and freight?

Can the two other coloured quick lists be used to hold all the equipment I have downloaded?

Cheers

Unfortunately the default US, German and UK stock is all lumped together in one asset category, so you can't reliably select only UK stock to look at. This has been a problem since before Railworks' original release.

You can however make a quicklist containing all of the default UK stock, if you like.

There is an FAQ about accessing non-default stock when making a scenario. As an addendum for that, you can deselect the "eye" column from the default Kuju/RailSimulator category so that you *only* see non-default stock.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

How do you add to the quick lists?

Right click the item required. They will turn the relevant colour of the three quicklists. Unfortunately, I don't think they are saved after you quit.
