2D Map Problem

My 2D map shows only the track layout and no other information of junctions or signals, it did until about a week ago, since then I have have tried everything I can think of including today deleting and doing a new install which I was sure would finally sort it, but no back to square one , can any kind soul give me a clue as to how to sort out ?.

In the top right corner of the map there are (or should be) two icons; a red "train" and a blue "screen/monitor"
Click on the latter and the display filter options should appear in a flyout on the right side of the screen (hover your mouse over that area as it's a bit hard to see). It's then just a case of checking which options you want visible in the 2D map.
For some reason every now and again I find RW resets these options so you can only see the "vanilla" map.

Alright mate,

Have you tried the Verifying the steam game cache? And clearing the cache of rws? this solves most problems... other than that could it be down to any add-ons that you may have recently downloaded!

Hope you get it fixed soon, I know how annoying such errors can be.
