HST Brakes

Post by anessen »

Hey
I'm having trouble understanding the braking system on the stock HST that comes with Railworks 2. Using the keyboard to apply brakes through the "graduated self lap" stages causes the pressure in the cylinder to spike and then drop right back down again, it only maintains pressure if I put it to "full service" but that causes too much Gs on the passengers in career runs. The only way I can get it to work is to use the mouse and hold it somewhere in the middle of graduated self lap but its very sensitive and I dont really understand what's going on with this.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Cheers!

It's broken. It shouldn't behave like that. RSC say they're going to fix it.

Meanwhile, try some different trains...

I had this after upgrading to RW2
Solved it by copying in the HST files from a previous pre RW2 save - now they work fine (or at least the way that they did before which is OK for me)
