Atomic Systems

So I downloaded a class 317 today for railworks from here.

I install the package. All is fine.

Then I come to plop the train onto the tracks in the sim. So I click on the train (which is in the drop down menu) but it will not appear. All the other locos appear, but not the class 317.

I can't seem to clear the cache either (hoping that this would help). Apparently there should be an option, but I can't see it.

I do not know too much about this particular model but I think you find that the ones in the UKTS library are just re-skins. You will need the original model in order to see these re-skins.

The readme file that can with your download should explain this.

If as Geoff suggests the file you've downloaded is a re-skin then you'll need this one as well:

To clear the cache go to the 'Tools & Docs' tab on the RailWorks 'Launcher' screen and click on the 'Clear Cache' button. If it's greyed out you'll need to quit from RailWorks altogether and re-start it.

What do I do if there's no "clear cache" button at all?

If there is no clear cache button, then you are on the wrong tab

You need to be on the tools and docs tab, which is the 5th one, 4th button down is the clear cache one.

I am in the tools and docs tab. There is no clear cache button. Do you want a screen cap?

I note a lack of cache button on this tab...

That would be because you are still running V93.x, latest version is V108.0
So I would say you need to update your installation.
