I've been deleting objects simply by dragging them off the screen and out of sight. I know they don't disappear completely when you do this, but I couldn't find another way. The manual is somewhat useless on many things, and this is one of them - at least I couldn't find anything. I see a trash can on the left flyout but I have no idea how it works.
Is there a better way than how I'm doing it?

Re: Deleting objects from a route
Click on an object to select it, then press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete it
Alternatively, if it's a recently placed object while still working within the editor, you might be able to use the "Undo" button, which looks like a orange left arrow in the top-left flyout menu, the orange right arrow is a redo button.
Cheers!

Re: Deleting objects from a route
Jeepers!! Using the select and delete button was about the only thing I DIDN't try. I should have mentioned in my original post that I was asking about deleting objects that had already been saved in a previous session. I use the un-do button a bunch when I try something that goes awry. Happens often!!
Thanks for the easy fix!!
