Can't get a route to show in the route list

Post by 47522 »

Hey guys,

This'll hopefully be a quickie. Some time ago I started to build a route on my laptop which was then left when I installed Railworks onto my more powerful computer.
I want to now continue with this route but from my desktop.

I did the obvious - copied the folders from the 'content' folder along with the 'assets' folder, for any third party scenery items I had used. I found that the route didn't show up in the Railworks route list. I thought it might be due to the blueprints.pak files which I then deleted but still the route wont show.

Is there anything else I need to do in order to the route to show up? I've probably forgotten something obvious!

Thanks in advance!
Regards
Matt

Hi

I don't think you can transfer routes by just copying the Content folder. You will need to package up the route on the laptop and install it onto the new computer with the installer. Transferring the assets folder as a copy and paste should be OK though.

Thanks for the reply.

I just recopied the files from my wireless external hard drive and now everything is showing up correctly!
Maybe my wireless had a moment when I downloaded it first off.
