Strange Weather Conditions

Post by tonic110 »

Morning Guys.

As some of you may be aware, I have been having problems creating Winter Scenarios, but only on one particular Route.
I was speaking to the Routes Author this morning (as I do most days) and he is aware that I am posting here.

Whenever I try to create a Scenario using the weather settings Default / Winter , I am still presented with a glorious summers day, Trees are full of leaves Flowers are in bloom etc.
With any other Route using the same weather settings gives me bare trees, snow on the ground etc.
I asked the author to check to see if he could find the cause, and he found this :

I did notice something with RW tools but the same thing happened in the other routes
Saying that textures for spring was spring.bin etc
And for summer it was SPRING.bin
And same for autumn and winter
Not sure where that came from but it didn't let me change it and the other routes are the same

Does this look right to you gentlemen ? As I have no idea about the inner working of Railworks, I was wondering if any of you had any ideas.

Thanks for listening.
Tony.

Not at all sure about that but I have set up many, many route templates all result in having the correct seasons. Did the route in question have a template created for it or was it just created from a default template? If it was created, was the correct line placed in the blueprint :- Weather\Default.xml
