TGA Tool 2

Post by JonathonAG »

How do you save your work in TGA Tool 2 as I had repainted the smoke deflectors of an engine and went onto file and save but when I go onto MSTS there is no difference to the original texture and my work is not on it

Does it happen by the sortware you are using to paint it as I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements

How did you save the file? you might have saved it in a different format to the ACE file you opened. When saving stuff in TGATools, ACE files require a small 'compiling' time while its saving unlike normal file saving.

Hi
I always use....export...."ACE(Alpha)not- DXT"....then a box will come up where you name the file....and select where to save it to.
I always save them to a folder called paint....and then move them afterwards...bit long winded but if something goes wrong...you haven't damaged the original.
