Manual Points - don't have levers

Created by Okrasa Ghia as a set of extended track pieces designed to coincide with the default track that comes with MSTS, XTracks has become one of the most essential additions that you must have on your machine since most routes make use of it.

Manual Points - don't have levers

Post by asalmon »

I have just realised in xtracks that none of the manual points have the levers, and that default track is overwritten too.

This presents a disadvantage that you can't tell what points can and cannot be changed by the player in an activity.

But otherwise the updated points do look better, with checkrails etc.

Are there any plans for having alternative shapes which include levers - not as separte track section, just to replace the existing one if a user prefers it.

Hi Alan, no there are no such plans.
The same shape file is used for both variations (copy and rename of the file).

Thanks for the reply.

I'll copy the originals back from a backup then.

An alternative to the levers as part of the switch track piece is to use a separate switch stand. The switch stand is an informational signal that shows the state of the junction. See http://www.quebec-rail.com/Tutorials/Sw ... tands.html for information on installation.

Is this the longest bump ever? Three years, one month and fourteen days!
