where is Xtracks,tk

Created by Okrasa Ghia as a set of extended track pieces designed to coincide with the default track that comes with MSTS, XTracks has become one of the most essential additions that you must have on your machine since most routes make use of it.

where is Xtracks,tk

Post by wvanstek »

in trying to get extra information about Xtracks I tried to jump to
http://www.xtracks.tk
but I was redirected without warning to
http://ndparking.com/serve.php?lid=5471 ... 1262794668

Is this a malicious virus or a stolen identity ?

Neither - it looks like the domain name was not renewed.

Hi!

Who's in charge of the Xtracks project now?
I mean.. if i want to develop a track pack to whom should i adress the issue of reserving some space in the tsection.dat file?

OkrasaGhia the Xtracks author was never in charge of tsection.dat development, but he did do some early testing. From the readme:
"This is a project, discussed with several people, tested and verified by Okrasa Ghia of Xtracks fame, put together and distributed by David Beach."

Several years ago when David went off the graduate school, Steven Masters picked up the project. From the first paragraph in any recent tsection.dat:
"Please contact Steven Masters at tsection AT train-sim.com if you have sections and/or shapes you wish to have included in this file."
Steven's home e-mail is also in the Developers list.

Also some Usernames: "Steven" on train-sim.com or "stevenmasters" here.

The first several pages in any recent tsection.dat makes for interesting reading...

regards,
charlie
