ukfs_t3i_l_5d71_r_5d71 - Problems?

Tim Booth created an absolutely stunning track system for MSTS called UKFineScale (aka UKFS). Accurate track profiles, hyper detailed track pieces and points etc make for stunning routes, before you even start thinking about scenery!

The pointwork shown by the arrow is ukfs_t3i_l_5d71_r_5d71, In MSTS when driving over the points when I change the points to another track it seems to derail the train. Is there any reason for this?

It looks like you haven't added the switch component (in your case ukfs_tswr_5d71) which enables the 2nd exit. MSTS only allows one switch per shape, so to allow 3-ways its necessary to add one afterwards. The switch component simply drops in to the gap where the 2nd set of switch blades should be.

D'oh!

Thanks for that Tim, I wasn't sure what it meant on the UKFineScale website. Cheers for clearing that up!
