Is there a general 'comments' or feedback area for individual downloads, or any plans for such?
It's occurred to me that I've already downloaded and thoroughly enjoyed some fantastic routes from UKTrainSim (I've reinstalled my copy of MSTS to play the totally-superb BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATIONS route and I'm having an absolute blast (it's really cool), but all the content creators who made this scenario possible probably have NO idea just how many 'silent' (ie, the invisible, non-creator) players have gained great enjoyment from their work. And it's the same with the RS scenarios I have downloaded too. I can't begin to imagine the work that must have gone into these and I would love to have a simple 'thanks' area or something like that.
Is this possible (or already available and I've been a total dolt and missed it)?
Thanks,
Sue

Hello Sue
There isnt a genral thanks forum, although that actually isnt a bad idea
You will find that most route, content and activity authors create a forum thread to advertise the impending issue of something they are about to, or have released, so if you search you may well find threads on the subject and could add your thanks there. For instance, as an activity writer, I always create a thread for my activites on the activity creation forum.
If you cant find a suitable thread then just start a new one. No one will mind and im sure the route author and silent contributors will appreciate your votes of thanks. There is far too little of it about, and unfortunately that has always been the case. People are quick to criticise but tend to be slow to praise, although that isnt always the case.
I hope this helps. I hope also that you will go on and enjoy many more of the absolutely excellent add on routes that are available here.

Thanks - it DOES help.
Some boards aren't very keen on 'thank you' messages posted everywhere, but I think feedback is very important (I create Sims content and I very much appreciate the feedback I receive, and it certainly motivates me to make more content).

Re: Comments and thanking people?
Hi
Yes I always like to thank when possible.
However generally my thanks go to ALL those that make MSTS, what it is today.
On my PC apart from the basic game engine, everything is virtually 3rd party development, and even the 'Train.exe' programme has been further developed by Bin Patch George.
Cheers
