Hello All,
Has anyone had trouble downloading yesterday, 04/25/08? I've tried to D/L the beautiful Johnson 4-4-0 and each time I get to position 1 in the queue, the page that allows one to save, cancel or open the file loads only about halfway on the progress bar, then simply stops, no "Page Not Found" or "Cannot Find Server", it just hangs there, or so it seems, for an hour or more. I've tried several PCs, my account appears valid. Up to yesterday, I've had no problems. Can anyone shed some light?
Many Thanks to All

I was able to get the Johnson 4-4-0 earlier yesterday, but I have seen the problem before. All I did when I saw that happen before was refresh the page and that fixed it for me.

Thank you all for your replies. Glad it's not only me!!With the Bullied Light Pacifics now available, I hope it clears up soon. I'm trying Blackmoor Vale now, but I'm at position 35!I'll give the 4-4-0 another go tonight.

Re: Download Problems?
I'm wondering that the server might be a bit busy with all the downloads of the recent new files..combined with some heavy traffic or bandwidth restrictions somewhere on the net.
There's around a 100 MB in the queue at the moment. All I can suggest is either hang in there and be patient a little longer...or try again later tonight or early tomorrow morning when things might be a little quieter.
We'll keep an eye on things and alert Matt or Pete if the situation gets worse....just in case the server needs a size 10 up its wotsit!

Re: Download Problems?
Anyone having problems downloading can email support <at> uktrainsim.com or use the online ticketing system at http://support.atomic-systems.com
Please note that this is for site problems etc. and not really intended for giving you step by step instructions how to make something work although we do try to help - even if that help is referring people back to particular threads on the forums.
Also - I believe from previous statements from Matt - when you get to the top of the queue you only have a couple of minutes to start the download or otherwise the session is dropped and you have to start again - this is to stop people being away from their PCs for hours clogging the queue up.

The log jam seems to be easing.....down from 110MB and 35 in the queue to 75MB and 15 in the queue.
