Newest Files by Simulator

Post by NeutronIC »

Hi all,

I've finally got around to adding the much requested facility to Newest Files so that you can select the simulator you're interested in.

This was already present in the Directory, now you can do the same for the Newest Files list too - so if you're only interested in Rail Simulator (or Trainz, or BVE etc) then you can make that choice and press update - and the file listing will update to exclude anything else.

Note: Currently there's no way to get a global newest files list, wasn't sure that was actually really that important.

There's a problem. If you change page, it reverts back to MSTS, so you can only see the most recent files.

Hi Matt & Co,
It had to me didn't it?
Unless I missed something.

There does not seem to be the option to choose a combination of Simulator. i.e. MSTS and RS only Any or one.

I am thinking of Ctrl+click those required.

Sorry to be a pain.

No, currently you can't do that, again I didn't think anyone would be that bothered... if it's a big want then I will look at how to do it :)

Hi Matt,
O.K. No worries. :D

Personally, I look at MSTS and RS every time, the others very occasionally out of interest. 8)

Keep up the good work it is appreciated.

Yes - you are missing the point Ali. The change is for the newest files screen not the front screen of the site.

I had to check 3 times before I figured it out but then that was just living up to my forum name ;-)
