At least one member of both the UKTS and BATS forums has noticed that I have been even more quiet than usual during the recent events. I want to make sure that this is not being interpreted as a lack of support for the actions being taken by Tim, Kim, Michael and Martin. I have been involved in some of the very difficult (and sometimes soul destroying) discussions over the last couple of weeks and want to publicly state that the decisions being made by “the remaining members of Blue Arrow TS” have my 100% agreement and support.

This is a very difficult time for everybody and especially for those intimately involved. Please give them a bit of room to do what needs to be done. I’m sure when the situation has stabilised (in whatever state) an official announcement will be made.

Regards,

Bob Latimer.
Hi Bob,

trainlord - for your information Bluearrow Trainsim (BATS) produced the Severn Valley Railway add-on for MSTS back in 2004. This product set the standard for route and rolling stock detail for commercial add-ons. They also produced numerous other add-ons from Electric trains to the Southern Region, encompassing LNER locomotives and stock on the way.

The current difficulties are entirely to do with the lack of contact with the team leader, which has unfortunately meant that the best option is to cease trading.

Regards,

Dan

This isn't about comparing add ons and saying which one is better, fact that the WSR route was created some time after the SVR should be taken into account. IMO SVR is still one of the MSTS greats and i think some people will agree it always will be. While you seem to be more interested in comparing add ons to others, im sure other people are more concerned of what the out come of all this will be. BATS have produced some fine add ons and i would like to thank them for all they have done for the MSTS community.

trainlord, no offence but if you dont have anything helpful to say then please, don't post further in this thread.

BATS have produced excellent add ons and given some very good freeware stuff to the community as well. I would like to say thank you and I hope that this all turns out well and BATS can carry on producing excellent items for some time yet for us all to enjoy.

Regards

Can only echo the sentiments of others at this time, BATS have made some great add-ons for MSTS and have made a significant contribution to the trainsimming community. I wish all members of the team, especially Mike at this difficult time, all the best and I hope that all ends well.

trainlord

Comments like your's are not really welcome here at UKTS.

Yes. The guys at BATS are having problems, and its their business....and not anybody elses.

Where we are all affected is that a source of very good add-ons for MSTS is probably gone for ever....which is the reason for this thread.

Please do not continue commenting in that way.

In my opinion, it is already one of the best tram simulators on MSTS....

But, I'm just a tad biased....seeing as I built it!

And its not a case of one route or one person's work being better than someone elses. To build a route in the first place is an achievement....and that's enough for me to say that someone deserves credit.

Trainlord - Firstly, Crich is Doug's route and I'm sure you won't get round him by telling him that it needs some extra work! Second, he's already told you that comments such as those you've posted are not welcome, yet you continue to make them!
seriously the work on here can we way better than what they do...
We are not in the business of slagging off other companies, or other people's work, so if that's what you wish to do, I'd seriously suggest you look for another forum - don't do it here.
