Matt and Michael,

Thanks for clarify the issues. I do appreciate there must be some difficulties to resolve and hope that these can be amicably sorted to EVERYone's benefit.

In the long term I hope that the creative effort is not lost and that those who contributed to commercial add-ons can resolve their issues.

The recent release of Cambrian2 had me digging through the BATS library and it was indeed a vivid reminder of just how much the team at BA and all the reskinners had contributed to our hobby.

As Michael mentions, hopefully the lessons of the past have been learned and therefore full consideration can be given to a solution in the fullness of time.

The NBL Loco's and the 40's will be coming to UKTS on completion since Like the EH2 pack these were not handed over to BATS for release yet.

EH2 will be the full pack minus the sounds (freeware alias will be provided) and the class 89 since this will be updated as planned originally by Update for those that have the pack and on CD for those that haven't, purely so the ACLG still recieve their revenue for it.

If anyone wants to donate any money then please forward it to the ACLG, they do have paypal and it would go toward maintaining the very loco's featured in the pack.

That's wonderful news Tim - I've been particularly looking forward to the NBL pack ever since you first announced it as the locos are favourites of mine. Great idea to donate to the ACLG, which I'll be doing.

Andy, thank you for taking the time to impart that information and thank you for your concern for Mikes health. It is a concern and is central to the current issues and we all wish him well.

l will let the relevant parties know of your refund and we will cross you off the list of MIA :).

Best

Hi
I too would also like to add my best wishes for Mike's health.
Whether BATs produce any further addons or not, they produced the SVR which set the standard for others to follow.
Cheers
Jon

Having worked on the EH2 pack, it's a shame what happened has indeed happened, but I support Tim's intentions all the way.

The downside to the freeware pack is that the current freeware sounds are not a patch on the Bats ones. I can see a lot of people aliasing the locos to either the sounds from EH1 pack or the 86s on Great Eastern.

As the author of the activities for the EH2 pack it's down to me at the end of the day if they are uploaded or not. As this stage I am not sure what I want to do and am only posting this to stop more people asking me about it.
The Class 303/311 pack - 26 EMUs for MSTS/OR covering every era of these iconic Clyde-based units. From Caley Blue to Carmine and Cream!

Niall,

What ever you decide l'm sure will be accepted by everyone, l would hate to see anyone pressured into doing something they may well later regret whilst this is all panning out.

Kindest

Some of you will not know who I am. I’ve been the lead beta tester for BATS for a while now but have not been a very visible member of the team.

At least one member of both the UKTS and BATS forums has noticed that I have been even more quiet than usual during the recent events. I want to make sure that this is not being interpreted as a lack of support for the actions being taken by Tim, Kim, Michael and Martin. I have been involved in some of the very difficult (and sometimes soul destroying) discussions over the last couple of weeks and want to publicly state that the decisions being made by “the remaining members of Blue Arrow TS” have my 100% agreement and support.

This is a very difficult time for everybody and especially for those intimately involved. Please give them a bit of room to do what needs to be done. I’m sure when the situation has stabilised (in whatever state) an official announcement will be made.

Regards,

Bob Latimer.

Thanks for making your position clear, Bob.

And I'm sure everyone will give yourself, Tim, Kim, Michael and Martin chance to sort things out....and give an end result that is best for you all...and for the community as a whole.

Nobody appears to be pushing for anything and it's mainly a discussion between BA members.

Never had any dealings with Mike but hope he is not seriously ill?

Only one question.

What is EH2?

Hi everyone
I have just read this news about BATS and I feel saddened to say the least.
I agree wholeheartedly with Jon Biltons statement about SVR setting the standard for others to follow.
I hope that everything settles down and I wish everyone at BATS and on this forum well.
Kind regards Stephen.
