Looking for a good Transport game

Have tried to post this in the Open Topics forum but it won't go through, sorry.


You know what, is it just me or has it been a few years since we've seen a new transport game on the PC? The last big one I can remember was Sid Mieres Railroads which while welcome, wasn't great. The top of the clan were Chris Saywers Transport Tycoon Deluxe which I still play to this day, and Industry Giant 2 which is a fantastic game. But the well's run dry or have I just missed a title.

I'd love to see Chris release TTDlx in full Windows support. His Locomotion was very promising till the computer opponents went bridge building mad and destroyed the landscape. If he could just take the original TT and make it Windows friendly, perhaps brush up the graphics a bit, I'd certainly buy it. I'd buy two copies so my sister and I could play head to head!

So, does anyone have any recommendations or titles either out of in the works? I could really do with playing a new transport game.
