View posts since last visit.

I use the "view posts since last visit" feature and very useful it is too, but it shows all new posts from all of the forums, some of which do not interest me.
Is it possible to select in advance only those forums that interest me, if not is it a feature that could easily be added?

In a word, No.
But there is a forum upgrade in the pipeline so you never know.
