If this problem is only happening to you - as seems to be the case - then we need to do a bit of research with you to determine just why it's happening. I'm sure your problem is browser or firewall related, so you really need to check all those settings.
I use Opera for preference and have few troubles with most sites, but occasionally my connections seems to cause a few hiccups (I'm on a secured 802.11g wi-fi to my laptop). Occasionally pages 'hang' while loading, and nothing seems to budge them. Reloading the page is often the only cure.
What your initial post doesn't tell us is whether you are only getting part of the page loading, or part of it is missing in the middle. Your problem may be allied to your firewall settings, as many firewalls have the option to disable or block some images and content from loading. Check the firewall settings to make sure it isn't blocking images and code. Enable notifications in the firewall to be sure you get to know what it's doing for you
Check your loading bar to see if the page is loading in its entirety - if it's not, maybe you need to check some other odds and ends of preferences.
Personally I don't use a browser cache - it causes me too many problems with too many sites. Disable yours, or set its size to 0 and see if that helps. Make sure that your browser is set to show images - it's too easy on some to disable them by accident.
After that, without further information it's difficult to know where else to look.
Keep us posted - whatever the problem turns out to be, someone else may find the information useful.

It's really odd but I have seen this happen once and had it reported a couple of times - basically the system that generates the queries and loads the data for the file library, once every blue moon, only see's about three files and everything gets appropriately shrunk. Unfortunately since these queries are run and then *cached* the result stays there for a little while - I forget what the expiry time is, up to an hour I think.
That said, i'd have expected it to affect everyone!
Most bizarre...
Is it still doing it?
Matt.

yep guys its still doing it, i've never experienced this kid of problem with any site before, and i must say...im completely lost as to why it happening. My cache is disabled completely, im not runnin a firewall, as im behind a firewalled router.....the weird thing is ive got the download library add bookmarked...and if i use the direct link, i see EVERYTHING in the download library...whereas if i use the link at the top of the main site, it only shows me 4 avaliabe files
... as for the logging in problems i was having, Matt has kindly sorted that out for me, and for that i am greatfull...i emailed you back too btw. so really in all honesty i dont know whats goin on, i can access the download library now, and download as much as i want again i juss need to use the bookmarked link, rather than the one at the top of the site to get here
i'll try and keep ya'z all updated anyway, it maybe one of those crazy lil things that juss recitifies itself one day out of the blue...who knows, but i'll keep postin if anything new transpires.
Thanks again to Matt for sorting me loggin in problem! xx
and again thanks to everyone whos tryna help me with this ...... weird stuff!!! xx
